El tema para el reto de esta semana es Historia en un segundo. Y cuando se trata de contar una historia en un segundo, siempre me viene a la cabeza la misma fotografía. 

Los que me conocéis estaréis hartos de ver esta foto por todas partes, pero es que además de la gran historia que tiene detrás, con ella gané mi primer concurso en Lomography y fue una de mis fotos más populares de la página (hasta que la borré, ya que poco a poco estoy eliminando todas las fotos de mi perfil y añadiéndolas a Flickr).

Y para los que no la conocíais la historia, esta foto cuenta la historia de un amor verdadero, la de mis abuelos, que se conocieron cuando ella era aun una niña (¡él la regaló sus primeras medias!). En el momento de la foto, llevaban juntos mas de 50 años y sólo con su mirada lo dicen todo.

Ahora va a hacer un año que ella ya no está, pero él no deja de hablar con ella ni un sólo día, y cada cosa que hace es pensando en ella.

Aunque no hace falta una foto para recordarla, me gusta mirarla de vez en cuando y pensar cuánto se querían.

This week´s photo challenge is Split-second story and when I have to tell a story with a picture it always comes to mind the same photography.

Those who knows me are tired of seeing this picture everywhere, but it is because, apart from the great story it lays behind, I also won my first contest in Lomography thanks to it and it was one of my most popular pictures on the site.

And for those who didn´t know the story, this picture tells the story of a great true-love story: My grandparents met when she was still a little girl and he even bought her her first pair of tights! When I taught this picture, they had been together for more than 50 years, and only with a look they said everything.

Now, its almost a year since she left us, but he talks to her everyday, and doesn´t do a thing without thinking of her.

We don´t need a picture to remind her, but I like to look at this picture from time to time and think how much they loved each other.
